A is for Aaron, which also stands for:

Aaron Martin

Marketing Manager

Aaron loves bringing stories to life. In fact, he loves it almost as much as his two boys love visiting Grandpa’s farm. Whether writing for print, digital or social media, Aaron has a knack for finding creative ways to engage and compel audiences of all ages, interests and industries.

Aaron’s agricultural roots run deep. In his school years, he owned ‘show-and-tell’ with piglets from the family farm and got in trouble for bringing a real tobacco hatchet to school. (Disclaimer: It was for a legitimate presentation about tobacco farming…and his classmates definitely thought it was cool.) In nobler – and less troublesome – pursuits, Aaron showed Holsteins in 4-H and served pancake breakfasts in FFA corduroy.

After earning degrees in journalism and English from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Aaron spent some years as a general assignment reporter and a marketing and communications consultant for clients across the country. In between, he bit off his tastiest assignment yet as an editor at a cheese industry weekly.

As part of the content team at Filament, Aaron leans on his passion for storytelling, digital media and agriculture to craft creative and engaging content and advance client goals. Oh, and he’s promised to reinstate ‘show-and-tell’ with piglets.
