Q: What do you get when you mix animals and strategic marketing?
A: Katie’s dream job and the reason she’s on the Filament team!

Katie’s love for animals started at a very young age. In fact, growing up she always wanted to be a vet. But she changed her tune in college when she realized the vast opportunities within marketing. Katie found her calling seeing brands come to life, evolve and impact consumer behavior.

Before Filament, Katie was a senior marketing specialist at Briggs & Stratton. Being on that side of the table now helps Katie put herself in her client’s shoes. In addition to taking apart and reconstructing an engine and driving a zero-turn mower like a pro, she also learned valuable lessons about strategic marketing, leadership and building strong relationships. Now her driving skills are used to drive teams to success.

Katie enjoys spending time with family in her hometown of Fish Creek, Wisconsin, trying out new coffee specials at Stone Creek Coffee or training for her next half marathon.
