Michaela is our definition of a go-getter. Growing up on a beef and cash crop farm, she learned the importance of managing her time, working hard and thinking quickly on her feet. Now, she brings those skills to her client teams at Filament.

A hunger for learning led Michaela to double major in photography and journalism and minor in management at the University of Minnesota. Following graduation, she left the big city in her rearview and returned to her agriculture roots as an online marketing manager at Hoard’s Dairyman and Hay & Forage Grower. As Brooks & Dunn once said, you can take the girl out of the honky tonk, but you can’t take the honky tonk out of the girl!

Outside work, you’ll find Michaela perfecting her photography skills. She loves shooting junior shows at her county fair and the beautiful views of her home farm. When Michaela isn’t taking photos, she’s spending time with the farm dogs or cruising up to her family’s cabin.
