S is for Shannon, which also stands for:
Shannon thrives on the details – of brands, the businesses behind them and the customer needs that drive them. She’s energized by talking to customers, and collaborating with sales, technical and marketing teams to uncover insights which fuel sound strategy.
Growing up on a small Wisconsin dairy farm, Shannon loved exhibiting animals, particularly her registered Holstein cattle, dogs and rabbits. After college at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Shannon served roles both in and out of agriculture – most recently as managing editor of Wisconsin’s leading agriculture newspaper and then leading marketing strategy for commercial poultry and swine products at an agricultural marketing agency.
If you think she lost her love of exhibiting animals, think again. Shannon spends most off-work hours with her Collies and French Bulldog, raising beautiful, purposefully bred dogs and exhibiting at the highest levels of the confirmation ring (think Westminster). When she’s not working with her own animals, she’s a spectator at the horse racing track – cheering on Thoroughbred athletes – or sipping a beer at the newest microbrewery.
