Kasey knows compelling stories start with people, and creating those connections is the best part of her job. Asking questions and learning from producers and industry members to craft content that’s both helpful and entertaining is her ultimate goal.

Like a lot of former FFA kids, Kasey is passionate about improving agriculture knowledge in the world. She found a way to do that by pairing her livestock background with a master’s degree in agriculture leadership, education and communications from Texas A&M University. She spent the next 11 years telling stories in agriculture as a managing editor at Angus Media.

Kasey is not only a storyteller by profession, but also as a hobby. When she’s not putting her audio talents to work by crafting a perfectly curated podcast or radio script, she’s performing in local musical theater productions (her favorite role was Mary Poppins). And she doesn’t limit her singing to the stage. You can find Kasey humming a tune at her desk, in the car – or really anywhere!
