Kelsi has a knack for writing, editing and creating social content. She has an eye for details and passion for dairy cows. Most days, Kelsi is up before the crack of dawn, working on her dairy farm before she trades her rubber boots for her content shoes.
Kelsi turned her love of dairy and writing into a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, studying dairy science and life sciences communication. Ever the communicator, Kelsi worked in communications for an agriculture equipment manufacturer and as an editor for an agriculture newspaper before joining Filament.
After work, you’ll find Kelsi back on her dairy farm, home to registered Brown Swiss and Holsteins. Which breed is better? It’s a longstanding debate between Kelsi and her husband. Kelsi’s favorite farm chores include feeding calves and milking cows. She also enjoys cooking and spending time with family.
