Maybe it’s writing a blog about improving feed efficiency in hogs, interviewing a bovine reproductive specialist or snapping pictures of cattle out on pasture; either way, it’s a typical day for Wyatt. With his laptop, audio recorder and camera in tow, he strives to create content that connects.

Wyatt lives for the challenge of crafting messages farmers and ranchers can use to create opportunity on their operations. That’s precisely what drew him to Filament: Working with clients who help farmers and ranchers get better.

If Wyatt isn’t writing for the brand, you’ll probably find him riding for the brand at his family’s ranch in the Flint Hills of Kansas. The business includes a custom grazing stocker operation, a commercial Angus cow/calf herd, outfitting deer hunters and hosting bird dog field trials.

When he’s not chasing story leads or cattle, he’s cheering on the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium, tailgating before a Kansas State game, wagering on live horse races, helping at a high school wrestling tournament, or hunting and fishing on the Kansas prairie. His other passion? Traveling. Wyatt’s visited a ranch, feedlot or dairy in 25 different states, not to mention that he’s been on farms in five different countries on four separate continents.
