Matilda

Chicken

Matilda is the eldest of the three hens. She’s quite protective of her Fila-flock and wisely keeps watch outside Ed’s office.

Matilda is the most productive layer of the Filament hens and can be a bit broody, especially in the spring. She’s been known to moodily cluck at Stella and Beatrice from the nesting box while they squawk about Edison racing through the office or Wilbur’s overexcitement.

When not hatching spring chicks, she takes great pride in helping the Filamentarians edit articles and provide expert feedback. After all, a mother hen is supposed to watch over her entire flock.
